OCS Walker Permission Form

For safety reasons, Walkers will be picked up from the Paulsen Softball Complex parking lot.

Alee Temple will be an alternate pick-up point for walkers only when the Paulsen Softball Complex parking lot is utilized for an event.
OCS School Safety Team Traffic Control Staff will escort all walkers to the Paulsen Complex parking lot. We continue to experience a significant traffic back-up when dismissal vehicles access Skidaway Road from all directions. Therefore, we ask parents or guardians to refrain from picking up and/or discharging OCS students in the roadway.
We also strongly encourage the use of Varnedoe and Scott Drives to access Skidaway Road after exiting the Paulsen parking lot (see map below). Walker status will be revoked for non-compliance.
**Walkers who are not picked up at the conclusion of the escort to the Paulsen Complex parking lot will be returned to campus. These students will then wait for pick-up in the supervised area of the Bus Ramp. As a safety precaution, parents and other motorists are reminded to refrain from picking up or discharging students in the roadway.
