Oglethorpe Charter School offers a variety of extra-curricular activities for students to participate in during and after school. Our teachers, parents, and community members sponsor these activities. These offerings change yearly. The following list is a sampling of what has been offered.
*National Junior BETA Club - Oglethorpe Charter School is proud to sponsor membership in Junior Beta Club! Achievement, Character and Leadership are the words that describe this club. Students must meet the following criteria: Exemplary Leadership, Academic achievement, and Teacher recommendations.
*National Junior Honor Society - National Juniors Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a middle school student. The NJHS has worked hard to bring the accomplishments of outstanding students to the attention of parents, teachers, peers and community. Chapters in more than 5, 000 middle schools across the nation strive to give practical meaning to the Society’s goals of Scholarship, Leadership, service, citizenship, and character.
Students serve their school and community through the projects completed this year.
*National Student Council Association - Student Leadership; students will assist principal and assistant principal in making decisions that affect student body and will participate in Titan Time Assemblies.
