Welcome to OCS
Founded in 1999, Oglethorpe Charter School was the first start-up charter middle school in the state of Georgia, serving grades six through eight. In 2012, we moved into a state of the art building located at 7202 Central Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. At the close of the 2023-24 school year, we celebrated our 25th year of partnering with parents and the community to inspire students to achieve personal and academic excellence. ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Admissions Application period for the 2026-27 school year ended on January 26, 2026 at 3:00 pm. An Admissions Lottery will be held January 30, 2026 at 8:30 am in the Martha Giddens Nesbit Theatre at Oglethorpe Charter School. Acceptance letters will be mailed February 3, 2026.
