Welcome to OCS
Founded in 1999, Oglethorpe Charter School was the first start-up charter middle school in the state of Georgia, serving grades six through eight. In 2012, we moved into a state of the art building located at 7202 Central Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. At the close of the 2023-24 school year, we will celebrate our 25th year of partnering with parents and the community to inspire students to achieve personal and academic excellence. We invite you to visit us and learn why it is great to be an OCS Titan!

1. Please have your student remember to bring a water bottle to school EVERY DAY.
2. The Nurse still has VSP eye glass vouchers about to expire. They allow a student to see an eye doctor as well as purchase new lenses or glasses if eligible. Please contact Nurse Borden at Dolores.Borden@sccpss.com or 395-5079 with questions or to claim a voucher.
3. 6th Grade Parents: Please remember that rising 7th Grade students will need their 7th grade shots before the start of the 2024-25 SY.
Oglethorpe has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for students at 7th Grade.
