Welcome to OCS
Founded in 1999, Oglethorpe Charter School was the first start-up charter middle school in the state of Georgia, serving grades six through eight. In 2012, we moved into a state of the art building located at 7202 Central Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. At the close of the 2023-24 school year, we will celebrate our 25th year of partnering with parents and the community to inspire students to achieve personal and academic excellence. 1. Please have your student remember to bring a water bottle to school EVERY DAY.
2. 6th Grade Parents: Please remember that rising 7th Grade students will need their 7th grade shots before the start of the 2024-25 SY.
3. All student medications must be picked up from the school nursing office by Friday, May 17th. This includes change of clothing, epi pens, insulin, inhalers and any routine or prn medications. These can be picked up from 7:15 am to 2 pm, Monday thru Friday. If the medications are not picked up by May 17th at 2 pm, they will be taken to SCCPSS /BOE for disposal per board policy. If you have any questions, you may call the nurse at 912-395-5079 or email dolores.borden@sccpss.com.
